Maria ''Chuy'' J. Fernandez, 98, of Phoenix, a homemaker, died Dec. 22, 1999. 

She was born in Jerome [AZ]. Survivors include her daughters, Mary, Frances and Alice sisters, Martina TABANICO and Menida ESQUER; brother, Wilfrando; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. 

Services: St. Anthony's Church, 909 S. First Ave., Phoenix. Greer-Wilson Funeral Home.
