TKACH, George Richard

George Richard Tkach passed away August 29, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 89. He was born to George and Anie (Gaydos) Tkach on August 7, 1921 in Streator, IL. George served proudly under the direction of the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged as Captain. He married Hannelore “Diana” Tkach on October 31, 1990 and together they made Lake Havasu their home five years ago from San Marcos, CA. George attended Loyola Prep School, worked for the State of California as a structural engineer for 35 years and was a devoted Catholic. George leaves behind his beloved wife, Hannelore Tkach of Lake Havasu City; sister Marriana Goris and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. The VFW Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81 will perform full military honors.
