Virgil K. Holland, 68, of Surprise, a retired engineer, died Dec. 26, 1999. He was born in Silverton, Oregon, and was a Korean War Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Arlene; sons, Steven, Brett and Grant; sister, Kathy RUTTEN; and one grandchild. Services: Desert Palms Presbyterian Church, 13459 Stardust Blvd., Sun City West.
