BOWERS, Roy Wills

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ September 10, 2010 Roy Wills Bowers, 86, died of natural causes, Aug. 30, 2010, in Chandler. Roy was born Jan. 17, 1924, in Ficklin, Ga. and resided in Chandler for three years. He served his country and retired from the US Army. He is survived by his daughters Audrey Wishart of Pinetop, Fifi Walker and son Eddie Bowers, both of Colorado Springs, Colo. He is preceded in death by his son Roy Bowers Jr, wife Mary Bowers and grandson Joe Bowers Services were held at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix.
