SPURLOCK, Bill Delbert


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ September 20, 2007 Bill Delbert Spurlock, 84, died Thursday, Aug. 30, [2007] at his summer residence in Lakeside. He was born Oct. 7, 1922, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., to George Arvid and Martha Kiturah King Spurlock and moved to Arizona in 1937 with his father. He retired as plant superintendent for the Kalil Bottling Company in Phoenix. Bill is survived by his third wife of 30 years, Irene; son Dennis Spurlock of Lakeside; daughter Karen Spurlock of Show Low; and son Robert Spurlock of Ft. Worth, Texas. He has 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 2202 N. 74th Street in Scottsdale on Sept. 4.
