WATERS, James Thomas Sr.

WATERS, James Thomas, Sr., born in Sedley, Virginia May 17, 1921. In loving memory of James T. Waters, Sr. who passed away September 5, 2010 at the age of 89 after a long illness in Tucson, AZ.

He served his country for 26 years in the United States Army through two wars achieving the rank of Lt. Col. and continued to serve as a civilian in the Department of Defense. He lived in Green Valley from 1979 through 2010. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who adored his family. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia Waters; his two sons, James T. Waters, Jr. and Richard Waters; daughter-in-law, Rae Waters and his two grandchildren, Thomas Waters and Alyssa Waters and sister-in-law, Agnes Moseley. Arrangements by GREEN VALLEY MORTUARY.
