COLVIN, William (Billy)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ August 16, 2007 William "Billy" Colvin, 56, of Show Low died Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at his residence. He was born June 2, 1951, at New Kensington, Pa., the son of Donald and Edith (Berkoben) Colvin. He lived with his family in Pennsylvania until they moved to Phoenix in 1960s. He came to the White Mountains 23 years ago and worked as a handyman and woodcutter. He had a talent for restoring old cars. He enjoyed fishing and his family. He was a good brother, friend and loving husband who will be seriously missed. Survivors include his wife, Janet, sister Edith Johnson and brother Walter Colvin, both of Show Low, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald Colvin. A private family viewing will be held but no services are planned at this time.
