Wickenburg (AZ) Graphic Friday, March 11, 1932, p 5 c 3 Friends received word that Mrs Ralph Higby of Ontario, California, passed away February 24. Mrs. Higby was formerly Miss Mary King, and she taught Spanish in the high school in Clarkdale a number of years. Death was due to influenza poisoning, and she leaves her husband, two small sons, her mother and sister, Miss Wilhemina King, a teacher in Merced, California. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ontario (CA) Daily Report Wednesday, February 24, 1932, p 2 Mrs. Mary M. Higby, wife of Ralph H. Higby, 330 Rosewood court, died early this morning at San Antonio community hospital following a short illness. Mrs. Higby was born September 21, 1900 at Merced. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Ralph H Jr and William King Higby, 6 and 2 respectively; her mother, Mrs. Margaret E. King and one sister, Miss Willmena King, both of Merced. Mrs. Higby was a member of the Congregational church of Prescott, Arizona, and of the Prescott Eastern Star chapter. Funeral services will be conducted at Todd and Reeves chapel, Pomona, Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with Rev Truman Douglas, pastor of Pilgrim Congregational church, officiating minister. Interment will be in Pomona cemetery.
