The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ August 30, 2007 Ima Palmer Rose died Aug. 26, 2007, at her home in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. She was born July 2, 1914, in Taylor. Ima was a member of the LDS church and served in callings in all of its organizations. Her gift of teaching had a positive influence on many people. One of her greatest joys was serving in the England London South Mission with her husband. She is survived by her two sons, Chuck (Nancy) Rose of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, and Will (Grace) Rose of Port Ludlow, Wash.; three daughters, Carolyn Bloodworth of Springville, Utah, Valerie Peterson of Chino Valley and Sharon (Mike) Ewing of Springville, Utah; 27 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gus Palmer of Flagstaff and Van Palmer of Holbrook. Ima was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister, seven brothers and two sons-in-law. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, Aug. 31, at Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Third Ward, 6890 S. 2228 E. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 E. Bengal Blvd. (7800 S.) and Friday one hour prior at the church. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Estates. Mountain View Memorial Estates handled arrangements.
