Glenna Joyce Austin Bigelow, 65, died Sept. 1, 2007, at her home in Eagar.
She was born Jan. 11, 1942, in Dickens, Texas, to L.D. Austin and Georgia Mary Gillespie. Glenna was a homemaker for 47 years. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandkids. She was a kind, giving, caring person who was a friend to everyone.
Glenna loved reading cookbooks and recipes and was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed cross-stitch and embroidery and making quilts for her grandkids. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony. Glenna served in the Young Women Organization, the Relief Society and the Primary.
She was married to Robert Bigelow, the love of her life, for 47 years. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Glenna is survived by her husband, Robert Bigelow of Eagar; son Robert Gary Bigelow of Eagar; daughters Shelly Stanley of Eagar; Melissa Sullivan of Queen Creek and Sandra Bigelow of Eagar; her father, L.D. Austin of Eagar; brothers Boyd Austin of Snowflake, Gary Austin of Thatcher and Dan Austin of Eagar; sister Nona Ashcroft of Eagar; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Austin, her brothers, Gene Austin and Terry Austin; and her sister, Kim Austin.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Amity Building, in Eagar.
