RAINER,
John Edward
Lamont Mortuary of Globe, Globe, AZ
September 11, 2010
John Edward Rainer passed away peacefully on Sept. 4, 2010 in his childhood home after a year-long struggle with chronic health complications. He grew up in Globe and lived in Arizona his entire life and enjoyed being outside in the sunshine, spending time in the garden and golfing on his favorite courses. Above all he cherished his family, friends and the Arizona Cardinals.
On most days he could be found wearing his Cardinals hat, commenting on the latest political news and speaking of his grandchildren and Fantasy Football League. His family and friends were the most important part of his life and gave him a strong sense of pride and purpose.
He followed politics very closely and prided himself on being a Democrat in a red state. He often shared that his greatest achievements in life were his children. He loved to brag about having smart kids and grandkids and would often say, "My kids all have graduate degrees. I think that's pretty good."
John will be missed by all who shared his love and friendship.
John is survived by his son John Skinner(Shelly) of Carmel, IN, his daughters Stephanie Schwall(Doug) of Nobleville, IN, Melanie Rainer and January Contreras(Carlos) of Washington, D.C. along with four grandchildren.
The service information will be released at a later date.
