MACKIEWCIZ, Cecelia

Fountain Hills Mortuary, Fountain Hills, Arizona Cecelia was born on July 3 1924 in Bayonne NJ to Cecilia and Michael Jankowski. She was married on October 21, 1950 to Ted Mackiewicz in Cranford NJ. Cecelia attended high school in Lodi, NJ run by the Sisters of the Scared Heart. Afterwards she attended Woods Secretarial School in New York City. She worked for 6 years as an Executive Secretary at DC Heath publishing in New York City after which time she became a full time Homemaker. Cecelia lived in Bayonne, Cranford, Colonia, Stirling and Mendham NJ before moving to Arizona where she lived in the communities of Desert Mountain and Rio Verde Arizona. Cecelia traveled extensively with her husband Ted visiting the USA, Europe and South America. She is survived by her husband Ted Mackiewicz, children Edward and Doris Mackiewicz, Susan and Matt Lanzara, John and Karen Mackiewicz, James and Christine Mackiewicz, Glenn and Lisa Mackiewicz, Jeffery and Claudine Mackiewicz, 11 Grandchildren and her sister Florence Eichenlaub. Cecilia touched the lives of many. She was loved by all that met her for her selfless acts of kindness and caring. She will be sadly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
