JONES, Dorothy

Dorothy Jones, 78, of Chandler died Jan. 9, 2007 at Chandler Regional Hospital. Visitation began at noon Friday at Community Presbyterian Church in Coolidge, with the funeral following at 1 p.m. Burial was in Valley Memorial Park. Mrs. Jones was born March 26, 1928 in Mcalester, Okla., to Arthur and Nora Luker. She lived in Arizona for 66 years, 38 in Coolidge before moving to Chandler in 1997. In Coolidge she was a dental assistant and homemaker. Survivors include a son, Dan Jones of Paso Robles, Calif.; two daughters, Cindi Martinez of Flagstaff and Linda Elliott of Brighton, Colo.; two brothers, Jim Luker of Henderson, Nev., and Jerry Luker of Tucson; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, in 1996; a sister, Hazel Zyskowski, in 1982; and a brother, Thomas Luker, in 1997.
