The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ September 17, 2010 Leo Phillip Kasey Jr. entered into rest Sept. 6, 2010, in Whiteriver. He was born Sept. 4, 1989, in Show Low. He will be dearly missed by all. Leo is survived by his father Phillip Kasey Sr.; mother Iva June Bonito; brother Benjamin Kasey; sisters Leona Tate, Leeatrice Kasey, Maisie Kasey; great-grandmother Dora Duryea Malone, Annie Nashio Ethelbah, Louella Riley; uncles Lindsay Kasey, Timothy Burnette; aunts Mary Yardley, Rosalie Nelson, Rosalind Massey, Cherita Burnette, Rosalind Rope, Peralta Kasey; and many more that loves him family, friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by sister Carmen Angel Burnette; brother Leon "Champ" Kasey; baby Kasey and aunt Kitty Wagner. A two night wake will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at his residence 3301 S. Sunset St. in Ft. Apache. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Canyon Day Miracle Church with Bishop Leroy Tate officiating. Interment will be held at Canyon Day Cemetery. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
