SCHMIDT, Marjorie A.

Marjorie A. Schmidt, 90, of Glendale, AZ, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003. 

She was born in Bettendorf, IA and was married on Dec. 30, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI to Carl F. Schmidt, who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Cinda S. Doktor of Scottsdale, AZ, and a brother, Walter R. Meier of Mequon, WI. 

She was a founding member of the Sun City Art Museum, and a member of the Unity Church of Sun City. She did volunteer work for the Sun City Kiwanis Club, and served as a volunteer for the Newspaper Comics Council in Greenwich, CT. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014-5656. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004 at the Unity Church of Sun City, 10101 W. Coggins Dr., Sun City, AZ.
