Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Thursday, September 16, 2010 Tony Chavez, 56, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, in Flagstaff. Mr. Chavez was born Oct. 15, 1953, the son of Tony and Rose Chavez. He was a graduate of Coconino High School. He loved hunting and fishing, and he enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by his children, Tony Jr., Nicole, Carlos and Camela; a granddaughter; mother Rose; sisters Gloria (Edward) Otero, Rose (Benny) Gavin; and brother Michael Chavez. He was preceded in death by his father, Tony, and sister Cathy Chavez. Private services will be held for the family.
