Dorothy Mae White, 90, formerly of Flagstaff, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, in Glendale.
Mrs. White was born Oct. 10, 1919, in El Paso, Texas. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and Soroptimist International. She enjoyed family, puzzles, fishing, dancing and bridge.
She is survived by daughter Karen I. White of Peoria; sons Robert L. White Jr. (Ralinda) of Albuquerque, N.M., and Donald B. White of Santa Fe, N.M.; brother David B. Williams of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Miles E. Williams Sr.; mother Nancy Lucille Williams; husband Robert L. White; brother Miles E. Williams Jr.; and sisters Hazel Detton and Joan Williams.
A service will be Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. at Masonic Temple Lodge No. 6, in Albuquerque. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sun City Alzheimer's Memory Walk under "Team Dorothy."
