WAGNER, O.B.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ August 2, 2007 O.B. Wagner, 80, died July 26, 2007, in Eagar. O.B. was born in 1926 in Leuders, Texas, to Emra Wallace and Allie Ashinhurst Wagner. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an Eagle Scout, an avid Texan and spent many years working in the oil and gas industry in Texas, Colorado and Arizona. He retired from that industry. O.B. is survived by his son Des (Myra) Wagner, daughter Karen (Allen Gross) Johnson, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elizabeth J. Wagner; brothers Desmond Wagner and Truman Wagner; and sister Mitt Miller. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, at 1 p.m., at the First Southern Baptist Church in Springerville. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled the arrangements.
