Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Saturday, September 18, 2010 Ethel May Hoag passed away Sept. 6 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 62. She was born to Dorsey and Thelma (Floyd) Avis July 26, 1948, in Coggon, Iowa. Ethel loved to do crafts and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Together, they would color, do crafts and enjoy the time they spent together. Ethel was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ethel leaves behind her beloved daughters, Wanda Kay Eastman, of Homosassa, Fla., Jeanette Lynn Paxton and Delia Sue Turton, both of Lake Havasu; two sisters, Donna Jean Avis, of Lake Havasu, and Betty Lou Alderman, of Parkersburg, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
