MADISON, Joyce (Joycee) Mary

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ August 9, 2007 Joyce "Joycee" Mary Madison, 80, went to be with Jesus Aug. 2, 2007. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Joycee knew how to light up a room; she was always feisty and full of life. Her laugh was infectious and her spirit is unforgettable. From the days of her youth, living on the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean, she lightened the hearts of World War II GI's with her dance. Those who knew her in her later years saw her continue to dance until her physical body could no longer. Now, we know she is dancing amongst the angels, perfectly restored in the glory of her Savior's radiant love. Joyce is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bob; daughter Carol Baker; and son Keith Madison; and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Guy Melville; sisters Winifred and Madge; and brother Ernie Melville. Memorial services were held Aug 6 at the Grace Church in Show Low.
