OWEN, Estella Mae

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ August 16, 2007 Estella Mae Owen, 93, died Aug. 13, 2007, at Bannon Springs Ranch in Vernon. She was born Feb. 1, 1914, in El Dorado, Kan., to Louie and Minnie Owen. Estella worked as a nurse's aide in Mesa for 60 years. She retired in Apache Junction and moved to Nutrioso and Springerville in 2001. She was a member of the First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Eagar. She is survived by her nephew, Larry G. Trezise of Nutrioso. She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Owen, and her sister, Joyce L. Trezise. A visitation was held at Burnham Mortuary in Eagar on Aug. 16. Interment will be Friday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m., at the Mountain View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St. in Mesa. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled the arrangements.
