The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ August 16, 2007 Blanche Petersen, 93, died Aug. 11, 2007, in Lakeside. She was born Oct. 15, 1913, in Flora, Ind. Blanche was a kind loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker all her life and had many hobbies. She is survived by one son, Jimmie Lee (Marion) Petersen of Clay Springs; four daughters, Louise (William) Barrows of Clay Springs, Clara (Lloyd) Reidhead of Heber, Thora (Ben) Perkins of Show Low and Janet (Albert) Crandell of Clay Springs; brother-in-law Drew Petersen of Snowflake; two sister-in-laws, Rose Hansen of Utah and Violet Aagard of Clay Springs; 41 grandchildren; 142 great-grandchildren; 56 great-great-grandchildren. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Petersen, as well as three brothers. Services were held Thursday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Pinedale/Clay Springs Ward. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
