Raymond “Berle” Williamson, Sr., age 58 of Globe-Miami, Ariz., passed away Sept. 17, 2010 at Odyssey Hospice in Mesa, Ariz. He was born on Nov. 13, 1951 in Miami, Ariz. to parents Raymond O. and Alene Williamson.
Raymond graduated from Miami High School in 1969. He was a heavy duty mechanic for Pinto Valley Copper Company for 18 years. He then went to work for the Arizona Department of Transportation as a heavy duty mechanic for 12 years. He loved to hunt, fish, trap, and spend time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Raymond O. Williamson, his mother Alene Williamson, and brother Alvis Williamson of Little Acres.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger of Midland City; daughters, Becky Alexander of Claypool, Kathy (Chad) Roberts of Little Acres; sons, JJ (Krista) Williamson of Midland City, Billy Williamson of Mesa, Ariz.; and grandchildren, Brittany and Megan Alexander, Allie and Tessa Roberts, and Kasen Williamson.
Memorial services will be held at Trinity Baptist Church in Globe, Ariz. on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 at 10 a.m.
A potluck reception will be held immediately following the memorial services at Maranatha Baptist Church in Globe, Ariz.
