Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, September 22, 2010 Lucy A. Conn, 84, of Cottonwood died Monday, Sept. 6, 2010. Mrs. Conn was born July 7, 1926, in Anson, Texas, the daughter of Adolph and Ludie Rainwater. She and her late husband, George, founded and operated Conn Pest Control, Inc. since 1974. She was the only woman to serve as president of the Arizona Pest Control Association, and along with her husband, George, received the Lifetime Achievement Award, Arizona Pest Control Association. Mrs. Conn is survived by her sister, Dorothy Mims (Bill) of Eastland, Texas; daughter Sharon McWilliams (Dickie) of Cottonwood; son Arnold Shelton (Laura) of Prescott Valley; and daughter-in-law Judy Shelton of Flagstaff; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends in Arizona and Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Conn; son Les Shelton; and sister Virginia Lopez. A memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood.
