MAESTAS, Celia Angelita

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ July 2, 2007 Celia Angelita Maestas, 66, of St. Johns died June 26, 2007 in Phoenix. She was born July 20, 1940 in Hesperus, Colo., to Patricio and Alvida Archuleta. Celia worked as a seamstress. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart and life. Celia is survived by her sons; Andrew Maestas of St. Johns, Edward Maestas of Durango, Colo., daughter Toni Odom of St. Johns; brothers Gilbert Archuleta, Mancos, Colo., Pat Archuleta, Mancos, Colo.; sisters Domie Morfin of Ogden, Utah, and Mary Chacon of Cortez, Colo.; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Tony Maestas, sister Lucinda Gladden and her parents. A viewing was held Friday, June 29 at 1 p.m. at the Baptist Church in St. Johns. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. Interment was held Saturday, June 30 at 2 p.m. at the Greenmount Cemetery in Durango, Colo. Burnham Mortuary of St. Johns handled arrangements
