Celia Angelita Maestas, 66, of St. Johns died June 26, 2007 in Phoenix.
She was born July 20, 1940 in Hesperus, Colo., to Patricio and Alvida Archuleta. Celia worked as a seamstress. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart and life.
Celia is survived by her sons; Andrew Maestas of St. Johns, Edward Maestas of Durango, Colo., daughter Toni Odom of St. Johns; brothers Gilbert Archuleta, Mancos, Colo., Pat Archuleta, Mancos, Colo.; sisters Domie Morfin of Ogden, Utah, and Mary Chacon of Cortez, Colo.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Tony Maestas, sister Lucinda Gladden and her parents.
A viewing was held Friday, June 29 at 1 p.m. at the Baptist Church in St. Johns. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. Interment was held Saturday, June 30 at 2 p.m. at the Greenmount Cemetery in Durango, Colo.
