MORRIS, Billy Glenn

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ July 5, 2007 Billy Glenn Morris, 60, of White Mountain Lake and Wellton, died June 30, 2007, in Lakeside. Billy was born March 25, 1947, in Wheeler, Texas. He was raised and attended school at Perryton, Texas, graduating in 1965. He was married to Judy McClure Sept. 15, 1999, at Bullhead City. He worked in produce and traveled following crop harvest. He had lived in Wellton for 15 years and in White Mountain Lake for seven years. He liked to fish. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Wellton Post 6790. Survivors include his wife, Judy, of the home; mother Imogene Shirey; daughter, Stephanie; stepdaughters Casandra and Christa; two sisters Shirley and Kelly Sue; two brothers Floyd and David and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 7, at Sunset Vista Cemetery in Yuma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to RTA Hospice, 1789 W. Commerce Dr., Lakeside, AZ 85929. Arrangements were under the direction of Black's Mortuary of Show Low.
