HOPKINS, Esther

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ July 5, 2007 Esther Hopkins of Springerville died June 30, 2007 at Bannon Springs in Vernon. She was born in Rochester, Ind. Feb. 11, 1915. Esther was a full time mother and, as time allowed, volunteered many hours at the City of Hope in Los Angeles. She is survived by sons, Jim Hopkins, Springerville, and Ted (Margie) Hopkins, Alamogordo, N.M.; two grandchildren, Kelly Bellinghausen and Phillip Hopkins; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Samantha. She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon; son Steven Hopkins, and five brothers and sisters, Lester, Herbert, Mildred, Earl and Ruth. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled the arrangements.
