The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ July 5, 2007 Lillianna Klim, 64, died due to cancer June 29, 2007 at the RTA Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Lakeside. She was born Dec. 13, 1942, to Walter and Philomena Malberg in Durango, Colo. Lillianna "Lani" earned her teaching degree after college and traveled frequently. She met her husband, Robert Klim while they were both teaching in Germany. They married in the States and continued to travel. She had two sons and moved with her family to Florida and then later moved to Lakeside in 1944 where she spent the rest of her life. Lani was a loving wife, a compassionate mother, a church activist at St. Mary of the Angels, mail carrier for the Pinetop Post Office and a gentle soul to all. She loved to be busy, either keeping up to date with family and friends or working on projects around the house. Lani was a faithful Catholic and a deeply prayerful woman. She is survived by her husband, Robert Klim; sons, Nicholas and Karl Klim; her mother and 11 siblings. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 5, at St. Mary of the Angels in Pinetop.
