The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ July 9, 2007 Matthew Alan Hunter, 23, of Taylor died July 5, 2007. Matthew, a salesman for Hatch Motor Company was born Feb. 23, 1984 in Phoenix. He grew up in Phoenix when he was ten his family moved to Texas and returned to Phoenix when he was fourteen. He graduated from school in 2002. Following high school he worked for Metro Motor Sports in Phoenix. In 2005 Matthew moved to Taylor and began working for Hatch Motor Company until the time of his passing. He enjoyed motorcycles and skatebording. Matthew is survived by his fiance, Julie Lusk , Julie Lusk and her parents, her mother Lucille Powell and father Don (Vera) Lusk; children Kiriana and Kadence of Taylor; sister Mary Jo Hunter and Lori Vaccaro of Phoenix; brother Richard Vaccaro of Phoenix; nieces Alicia and Ava Sierras; nephew Vincent Vaccaro; sister-in-law Christine Cahill of Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Craig Hunter. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 11 at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell in Phoenix. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Whitney Murphey Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix with a Rosary Service beginning at 7 p.m. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
