DONNELLY, William M.

Willam M. Donnelly, 66, of Scottsdale, AZ and former New York resident, passed away December 30th 2003. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was a United States Marine & veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the N.Y.P.D. as a Gold Shield detective after 21 years of service, and was a recipient of numerous awards and commendations. He also worked for the prestigious Tichman East Management Corp. as Security Director for multiple Manhattan buildings. Bill is survived by his wife Maria, ex-wife Mary, and daughters Karen Jackson, Erin Donnelly, and Tara Donnelly. Brother Robert Donnelly and sister Dorothy Greenberg of New York, 3 grandchildren, Billy, Tommy and Christian, numerous nieces and nephews, countless friends, family and co-workers who will miss him greatly and remember him for his generosity of spirit, kindness to all and love for his family. A mass was held on January 10th @ Community of The Blessed Sacrament Church on 64th & Shea in Scottsdale. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/7/2004.
