Mary Ruiz Figueroa, 90, of Phx, AZ, passed away peacefully Friday morning at 2:00 am Jan. 2, 2004, after a brief illness with pneumonia and heart failure.
She was born to Antonio & Carmen Sigala in Florence, AZ on Dec. 28, 1913. She is preceded in death by her parents, Son Robert Figueroa, Sisters Jessie Ruiz, Susie Esquer, Adelina Lopez. She is survived by sisters Cruz Robles of Chandler, AZ, Minnie Gomez of Coolidge, AZ, Sally Ramirez of Phoenix, AZ. She leaves behind her five children; Frances Schultz, Armida Alvarez, Billy Ruiz, Raymod Figueroa, and Danny Figueroa. All from Phoenix, AZ. 30 Grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, 44 great-great grandchildren, 1 great-great-great grandchild and numerous family and friends.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation Thursday evening Jan. 8th, 2004 followed by Mass, Friday morning at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, 6401 S. Central. Burial at East Resthaven Cemetery. There will be no reception following interment.
