Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ Sunday, September 26, 2010 Linda S. Cook lost her fight with cancer on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at age 60 years. She leaves behind three children, Wes Huffield, Jayme Bradley and Tomas Kren. My mother instilled in all of her children an immense work ethic, an equally strong sense of pride, a fighting spirit, a deep respect for animals, and the knowledge that nothing was beyond our reach. My mother worked hard all of her life and never complained about the hand that life dealt her. Everything my mother had was earned through hard work, perseverance, and mostly sheer stubbornness. And, true to her nature, Linda wanted no memorial service, only to be cremated. My mother told me once that the best way to memorialize a person is to remember the good times you shared.
