Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Saturday, September 25, 2010 Bernadette “Bernie” Mae Brouillard, 85, passed away Sept. 11, 2010, in Lake Havasu City. She was born on June 16, 1925, in Burlington, Vt., to John and Alice Jones. Bernie, as she was known to her family and friends, moved to Lake Havasu City from Vermont in 1970 with her late husband, Alfred. She was a great supporter of the Disabled American Veterans. She is now resting in peace with her husband, Alfred Brouillard, and will be deeply missed. Bernie is survived by her sons, Robert and Scott Brouillard; daughters, Michelle Brouillard and Sharon Arrendondo; grandchildren, Jeannine Marie Brown, Angelica Arrendondo and Estevan Arrendondo; and great grandchildren, Haley and Joey Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Brouillard. Graveside service and Interment was held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Sept. 17. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans’ Association. Thoughts, memories and condolences can be sent to the family at www.lakehavasumortuary.com.
