Daily Sun, 13 Nov 1992, Page 5 Oscar Robert Montana Memorial Mass for Yuma native Oscar Robert Montana, 63, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the clergy officiating. Private inurnment will be in Desert Lawn. Johnson Mortuary is in charge of cremation and arrangements. Born Jan. 16, 1929, in Yuma, he died Nov. 10, 1992, at Yuma Regional Medical Center. He attended Second Avenue, Fourth Avenue and Yuma High schools. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force from Dec 1946 to September 1949. He was assistant manager of J. M. McDonald Store for 30 years, retiring when the store closed. Survivors include his wife Nadine of the home; sons Robert and Robert Jr. of Yuma; daughters Debra Kennedy of Yuma and Susan Zavala of Mesa; brothers Bill Montana of Imperial Dam; John Montana of Huntsville, Ala, Peter Montana of Yuma and Richard Collins of Phoenix; sisters Victoria Alcala and Annabelle Hernandez of Yuma, Dora Harper of St. George , Utah, and Juanita Owen of Palm Desert, Calif; and seven grandchildren.
