THOMPSON, Grace M.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ July 19, 2007 Grace M. Thompson passed away at her son's home in Snowflake July 13, 2007. She was 79 years old. Grace spent part of her youth in a Nevada gold mining town with her mother and father. The family moved to Denver, Colo., where she met her husband of 53 years, William G. Thompson. Her life was dedicated to her family and home. She enjoyed gardening and knitting on her knitting machines. When she lost her husband in the year 2000, she moved to Snowflake to live with her son and his wife. Grace is survived by her son, Tom Thompson of Snowflake; and her daughter, Patsy Goodfield of Denver, Colo., and several grandchildren. No services were held. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled the arrangement
