PITTS, Chester Lee

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ July 19, 2007 Chester Lee Pitts, 91, formerly of Pinetop, died Saturday, July 14, 2007, in Casa Grande. Mr. Pitts was born March 19, 1916, in Texas, the son of Raymond and Annabelle Pitts. He was raised and graduated from high school in Texas, where he played on the football team. He later moved to Phoenix where he worked for Reynolds Aluminum factory, retiring in 1985. He moved to Pinetop in 1985 and went to Casa Grande in 2006 to be with his daughter. Survivors include his daughter, Darlene Bernier of Casa Grande; two grandchildren, Michael May and Nicole Bernier of Casa Grande, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 20, in the chapel of Black's Mortuary in Show Low with Rev. Mark Crotinger officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
