BOHART, Maxine Carter


Las Vegas (NV) Review-Journal Tuesday, September 28, 2010 The family of Maxine Carter Bohart is sorrowed by the passing of their dearly beloved mother, Sept 24, 2010. Maxine was born May 26, 1925, in Milford, Utah, and married to Bristol Jack Bohart April 4, 1945. Her husband of 45 years preceded her Feb 18, 1990. Maxine and Jack moved to Las Vegas in 1956 and remained residents until their passing. Maxine was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5th Ward. Maxine was a devoted housewife and mother, as well as a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers for several years. Maxine is survived by five daughters, Judith Ann Stewart (Jay) of Wickenburg, Ariz., Nancy Carol Hughes of Las Vegas, Mary Lee Shanks of Las Vegas, Sharon Louise Collins (Don) of Clackamas, Ore., and Sherry Lynn Oravec (John) OF Las Vegas; and one surviving sister, Virginia Daniels of Salt Lake City. Maxine was very proud of her nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Maxine was honored in May on her 85th birthday this year by all of her daughters and grandchildren, as well as several other realtives in attendance. Services will be at 3pm Friday, Oct 1, at Palm Mortuary Chapel, 1325 N Main St. Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Park. Donations can be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice in lieu of flowers.
