DAVIS, Walter Steven

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, September 29, 2010 Walter Steven Davis, 64, born in Patton, Mo., on New Year’s Eve, 1945, passed away Sept. 20. Walter, who was a University of Arizona graduate (loved those Wildcats!) and served in Vietnam, lived in the Prescott area after retirement. He had a great love for those who survive him: his sister Bev, his brother Larry and wife Janet, and his brother Ed and wife Darcy. He especially loved his nieces Christine (Jon), Joy (Matt), Lynsay, Jennifer (Josh), and nephew David and their children. We’ll always remember his sense of humor, his love for photography and astronomy, as well as anything technical, from the smallest gadget to the latest computers. A private memorial service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. They gave Walter such loving care in the last weeks of his life. Arrangements are by Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale, Ariz.
