WHITMORE, Albert Dean

Rexburg (ID) Standard Journal Tuesday, September 21, 2010 Albert Dean Whitmore was born in Ashton on Feb 6, 1950, to Edward "Bud" and Alphea Bird Whitmore. He grew up in Marysville and Ashton and was a graduate of North Fremont High School in Ashton. He worked with concrete in Idaho for a few years in between working in various casinos in Nevada dealing cards for many years. In Arizona, he went to trucking school, then drove trucks until his death. Albert died Sept 3, 2010. His residence at his death was Black Canyon City, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Geneva Whitmore; and a brother, Ricky Bill Whitmore. Survivors include four sons, Rick Whitmore, Tracy Whitmore, Cordell Whitmore and Danny Whitmore; and two grandchildren; brothers David (Tracy) Whitmore of Tetonia and Danny (Letha) Whitmore of Ashton; and sisters Toni (Vint Wykle) Merrill and Jenny Kirkham, both of Ashton. He was good and thoughtful son and brother to his family. He had a gentle, quiet way about him, so that few people really got to know his. The friends that he had loved him and appreciated him. There will be a small family memorial service in the future.
