Larry Lee Brewer died Sept. 29 , 2010. He was born May 21, 1936.
Larry and Virginia grew up and married in the White Mountains of Arizona where they started their little family of four children: Danny Paul Brewer (Patty), Jody Michael Brewer (Becky) Larrine Pedersen (David), Nola Jane Garvin (Richard). They have 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and counting.
Larry was a pipe fitter/welder by trade and helped build parts of the Snowflake paper mill before moving to Albany, Ore. where he finished out his career and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1992 and took a medical retirement.
In 1997, Larry and his wife served an 18-month genealogical mission in Iowa for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Larry’s favorite things to do was making arrow heads, jewelry, knives, sheaths and finding good use for useful things.
He had the greenest thumb and a heart of gold. Everyone was his friend and all of his friends were family. He will be missed!
He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Lee Beamon (Brewer) June 2, 2009.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taylor Stake Center with a viewing starting at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at the Pinedale Cemetery. To send an online or private note for the family, visit www.silvercreekmortuary.net.
