Manny "Lino" Flores, 18, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, in Winslow.
Mr. Flores was born March 11, 1992, in Phoenix. He was always a loving and caring young man. He had a smile on his face no matter what troubles or problems he might have had going on himself.
He always put everyone before himself, constantly looking out for his mom and sister. He had many friends who he would do all he could to be with every minute he had. He also loved his dog, Boy, dearly, always chasing and walking him around town.
Mr. Flores is survived by his mother, Rachel Flores of Winslow; brothers Joseph Monsegur, Gilbert Monsegur and Matt Trevino of Winslow; sister Monica Esperanza Flores of Winslow; grandparents Lydia Flores of Phoenix and Jose Guiterez of California; aunts and uncles Manuel "Spanky" and Darlene Flores of Winslow, Joe and Jonnie Lynn Tafoya of Colorado, and April Flores of Winslow; and many cousins from all over Arizona, California and Colorado, as well as countless close friends.
Holy Rosary will be recited Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, followed by Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. with celebrant Father Frank Chacon. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.greersmortuary.com.
