Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, Fountain Hills, Arizona Peggy Lee Schafranka, born March 9, 1924 in Texas as Peggy Jean Lee, passed away peacefully at home in Fountain Hills on September 20, 2010. She was married for 62 years to the love of her life, Capt. Robert V. Schafranka, who preceded her on July 28, 2004. Peggy is survived by her loving son, David Schafranka, daughter Robbie Beaty and her husband Ted, grandson Timothy Beaty. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Ruby Lee, brother Leland and grandson Derek Beaty. Visitation on Monday, September 27th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd., Fountain Hills. Services to be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 28th at Messenger Fountain Hills Chapel. Following services, Peggy will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
