Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Sunday, October 03, 2010 Robert T. Hochstetter, 51, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010. Mr. Hochstetter was born Feb. 1, 1958, in Oakland, Calif., and grew up in San Leandro, Calif. In his younger years, he worked at Todd Shipyard in Alameda, Calif., with his father. Mr. Hochstetter lived in Lake Tahoe, Calif., for 26 years until moving to Flagstaff in 2006. He was a maintenance engineer and specialized in heating, air conditioning and boilers. He was a loving husband, father and hard worker who enjoyed being home with his family. Mr. Hochstetter is survived by his wife of 19 years, Mary McKenrick Hochstetter; three stepchildren and one adopted daughter, Tyson McKenrick of Lake Tahoe, Richard Horvatich of California, Sherilyn Horvatich of Flagstaff and Hannah Hochstetter of Flagstaff; sisters Sheila Maurine of Chico, Calif., and Patricia McCarley (Howard) of Las Vegas; four nephews; and three nieces. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Lake Mary Building, 4165 Lake Mary Road.
