ROTHLISBERGER, Richard Allen


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ June 7, 2007 Richard Allen Rothlisberger, 44, died at his home in Ellijay, Ga., Friday, June 1, 2007. He was born April 18, 1963, in Springerville to Andrew Gibbons and Joyce Marie Parish Rothlisberger. He was raised in St. Johns and Kearny and graduated from Ray High School. Richard worked as an auto mechanic and as a finishing carpenter on new homes. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved his family very much and he enjoyed the outdoors. He especially loved to fish. He helped many people and touched many lives over the years. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Davis Rothlisberger of Ellijay, Ga.; daughter Tasha Rothlisberger of Tom's River, N.J.; stepchildren Jonathan and Barbara Davis of Ellijay, Ga., Sheena Davis, Ruskin, Fla.; and two grandchildren Crystal and Alicia Lopez. Richard is also survived by his mother, Joyce; brothers Robert (Linda) Rothlisberger of Krum, Texas, and David (June) Kirk of St. Johns; sisters Beverly (Dale) Jamison of St. Johns, Brenda Eilertsen of Safford, Barbara (Jeff) Lowe of Sapulpa, Okla., and Beth (Floyd) Sleeman of Bonham, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Gibbons Rothlisberger. A viewing will be held at the St. Johns LDS Stake Center Saturday, June 9, from 9-10 a.m. with a graveside service starting around 10:15 a.m. at the St. Johns West Side Cemetery. Logan Mortuary in Ellijay, Ga., and Burnham Mortuary of St. Johns assisted with funeral arrangements. The family would like to acknowledge all that have donated funds to help the family make this possible.
