Sue Lynn Williams, 68, of Overgaard died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family April 30, 2007.
She was born in Safford June 27, 1938, but spent her childhood in Young where she later met her eternal companion, Earl Williams. Sue and Earl were married in Young on Aug. 18, 1957, and were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Arizona Mesa Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were blessed with five children, four boys and one girl.
Sue and Earl made their home in Heber where she was a homemaker and food service director for the Heber School District from which she later retired. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, camping, traveling and could always be found in her craft room working on projects.
Sue was a very compassionate and loving person who was always willing to help someone in need. She loved serving others, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sue loved and was loved by her family and friends and will be missed by many.
Sue is survived by her husband, Earl; sons Kevin of Tampa, Fla., Kelly (Adrian) of Heber, Brett (Tammi) of Tucson, Jody (Amy) of Chandler; daughter Cathy (Terry) Randgaard of Overgaard; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother Larry (Juanita) of Globe and three sisters Patti Holder (Mich Holder), Arlene (Dan) Watko, Terri (Ron) Murphy all of Globe.
