The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ May 10, 2007 Jerome Kasey, Sr, 77, of Carrizo, died Monday, May 7, 2007, at Whiteriver. Jerome was born May 5, 1930, at Carrizo, the son of Edgar and Louise (Perry) Kasey. He is survived by a son, Jerome Kasey Jr.; daughters, Margie Romero, Valarie Burnette, Genivie Kasey, Christine Smith and Marlene Tso; sons-in-law, Robert Romero, Raymond Burnette, Ernie West and Daniel Smith; stepchildren Ramona Way, Joyce Amarock, Vera Griggs, Fern Mark and Vonda Bonito; 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mable Kasey. A wake will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 10, at the Ray and Valarie Burnette residence, 810 N. Chief, Whiteriver. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 12, at Canyon Day Miracle Church, with Pastor Lex Baha officiating. Burial will be in the Carrizo Family Plot.
