Marion Boyse, 83, died Wednesday May 9, 2007, in Tucson following a lengthy illness.
Marian was born Nov. 21, 1923, in Zeniff, to the late John and Minnie (Heward) Bowler. In her younger years she owned and operated Maryanne's Ceramic Shop in Holbrook. She was married to Lynn DeSpain for many years before his death in 1964. She later married Letcher "Dutch" Boyse, who also has preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, Lynn DeSpain (Judy) of Apache Junction; daughter, Claudette Carpenter (Harold) of Tucson; three brothers, Philip Bowler of Woodruff, Frank Bowler of Fort Thomas and Bert Bowler of Phoenix; daughter-in-law Carrie DeSpain; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased in death by a son, Douglas DeSpain, and a brother, John Bowler.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the Woodruff Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with a viewing two hours prior to services at the church.
Interment will follow at the Woodruff Cemetery.
