TORTICE, Sidney (Sid)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ May 10, 2007 Sidney "Sid" Tortice died May, 7, 2007, in Show Low. He was born Nov. 10, 1924, in Carrizo. He served in the Navy during WWII. He attended the University of Arizona for one year. Sid worked for the State Department as a surveyor and an architect. He is survived by three daughters; one son; one sister Angela Bourke along with numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. A one-night wake was held May 10 at the residence of Angela Bourke, in Carrizo. Services will be held Friday, May 11, at 2 p.m. at the residence of Angela Bourke, in Carrizo.
