Dawn Marie Archuleta, 47, of Clay Springs died Wednesday, May 9, 2007.
Mrs. Archuleta an inspector at Abitibi Paper Mill was born May 7, 1960, in Inglewood, Calif. She grew up and attended school in Eureka, Calif., graduating from high school in 1979. Following school Dawn moved to Arizona and worked as a firefighter with the Forest Service. In 1980 she met Nick Archuleta and they were married August 21, 1982. They moved to many different towns early in their marriage, settling in Clay Springs in 1990. Dawn worked with Abitibi for 20 years.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Nick Archuleta of Clay Springs; son Robert Archuleta of Clay Springs; daughter Shannon Archuleta of Tucson; brothers Jay Morrow of San Diego, Calif., Darren McPree of Texas, Brian McPree of Utah and Don McPree of Calif.; and sister Robin Morrow of Eureka, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private services will be held.
