HARVEY, Bernard Hill

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ May 17, 2007 Bernard Hill Harvey, 76, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at RTA Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Lakeside. He was born June 8, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Harvey served in the Navy for 26 years and then worked as a chiropractor in Mesa and Douglas. Bernard also drove a school bus for the Show Low School District for nine years. Mr. Harvey is survived by his wife, Mayme Ann of Show Low, 10 children, 30 grandchildren, three brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo C. and Garnet Harvey. Funeral services will be held at the Downtown Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Saturday, May 19, at 11 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior and Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Owens Mortuary in Show Low. Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, Monday, May 21, at 9:30 a.m. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
